Aware Networks

Ariel Pashtan is a software systems professional developing mobile web applications and consulting companies in the areas of software and cellular telephony. He has over 20 years of industry experience working for Motorola, IBM, Gould, and Israel Aircraft Industries. He was a distinguished member of the technical staff in Motorola Labs where he managed research projects. His past experience includes leading wireless Web services research, network management requirements, and cellular standards teams. 
Past academic appointments include teaching at Northwestern University and the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.

Ariel is the author of Mobile Web Services Cambridge University Press, 2005. He also contributed a chapter on Cellular Telephony to UNESCO's Encyclopedia of Life Support Systems, published journal and conference papers on wireless networks and software architecture and design, and holds several U.S. patents.
